Eric Barclay
After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Eric started his career in the insurance industry and founded Barclay Insurance. Eric has since gained over 30 years of experience in the industry, and has a proven track record for analyzing, designing, and implementing cost effective insurance solutions.
During this time, Eric has helped to establish and manage benefit plans and retirement savings programs for hundreds of organizations across BC, as well as provide tax-effective strategies for executives and business owners using innovative insurance planning.
Eric is a member of the London Life Wealth & Estate Planning Group which specializes on meeting the complex needs of families and businesses in the high-net-worth and affluent markets. Eric has also served on various boards and charities in the community, including the Hope House Cancer Society and Pacific Salmon Foundation.
Eric has received the prestigious National Quality Award in recognition of his quality life underwriting service to the public, as evidenced by his excellent record of maintaining and extending the benefits of life insurance to British Columbians. He has also been recognized by The Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association, The Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association, and the Life Underwriters Association of Canada for his service. Since 2001, Eric has been a member of Great-West Life’s Executive Club which honors exceptional performance in sales and service. Additionally, Eric is a member of the London Life Honor Club which is a reflection of high standards of professionalism and performance in life underwriting.
Eric participates actively in the financial industry by regularly hosting seminars to up and coming Financial Advisors throughout the Lower Mainland. Outside of the office, Eric is married with 2 fantastic children, and enjoys spending time with his family through activities such as tennis, squash, snowboarding, and fishing.

Julie Alladice
Julie has been in the insurance business since 1990 and has gained a wealth of experience in various aspects of the industry. In over 25 years with Barclay Insurance, Julie has supported her client’s diverse personal insurance needs by specializing in individual insurance solutions.
Julie has spent her free time volunteering at Vancouver General Hospital in the palliative care unit, and contributes to organizations such as Canadian Blood Services and the Canadian Cancer Society.
Julie looks forward to assisting you with your individual insurance needs.
Michael Jang
Michael has spent his entire career at Barclay Insurance, starting with the organization after obtaining his Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Since joining Barclay Insurance, Michael has gained 12 years of industry experience and has helped a multitude of businesses implement and manage cost-effective benefit plans.
Michael has spent his free time developing camps and activities for disadvantaged youth, and is a regular contributor to the Union Gospel Mission, Canuck Place, and Covenant House. He also enjoys playing hockey and exploring the great outdoors.
